Register for the Summer School
What you get
The registration includes accommodation and meals.
You will receive printed course notes and slides of all the talks. In
addition you will get some limited computer and Internet access during
the two weeks of the Summer School. Furthermore, the registration fee
includes a reception on Sunday, March 2, 2008 and a day excursion.
Note that there is neither a shopping center, nor restaurant, nor
alternative accommodation in walking distance.
Fees
The Summer School is not a commercial activity. In fact, it is
subsidised by various sponsors including the ANU and NICTA.
Therefore, we try to keep the registration
fees for students as low as possible. For attendants from industry we
charge a fee which will cover the expenses of the school.
Prices are in
Australian dollars and include 10% goods and services tax.
Late registration payments after 5 February are subject to a 20% surcharge.
We have a limited capacity for about 80 participants and only a couple of places are left. Registration closes when we are booked out.

For industry participants who want to register for only one week a
special rate of $A1500 applies. If you want more information about this
option please send mail to mlss08@rsise.anu.edu.au.
If you cannot pay online using a credit card,
please send email to mlss08@rsise.anu.edu.au
for alternative payment methods, however we much prefer the
use of credit cards.
If you (or your organisation) pay by an alternative method (ie bank transfer or cheque), please be sure to send a copy of your receipt or cheque to mlss08@rsise.anu.edu.au. [Confirmation of payment is required before your attendance is secured.]
All credit card details are handled by a secure server provided by the
Australian National University.
Privacy policy:
When you register for the Summer School we collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses and demographic information such as gender and zip code. While browsing the Summer School website we may also collect information about your IP address, browser type, domain name, access times and referring Web site address.
This information is used for administration of the Summer School and will not be released to any third party without your consent.
Refund policy:
There will be no refunds of registration payments after the 15 February 2007. Refunds up till the 15 February will incur an administration fee of A$100.
Refund will be credited to the credit card details provided at registration. Any expenses incurred for this transaction are the responsibility of the card holder.
