How to reach IDSIA by train

How to reach IDSIA by plane

• From airport Agno take a taxi (10min, costs SFr 20,-) - or -
• From airport Malpensa in Milano (Italy): take the bus (number 19) to Lugano central station (goes every 2-3 hours, takes 80min) - or -
• From airport Zürich: take the train to Lugano central station (goes once per hour, takes 3 hours), ...

... from Lugano central station to IDSIA

• Take the bus from Piazzo Besso (on the other side of the station) (goes 9 minutes past every full hour, takes 20min, exit at stop Centro di Calcolo) - or -
• Take the little FLP train (goes every 20min, takes 8min), exit at stop Molinazzo (press button for train to halt), walk 15min - or -
• Take a taxi (15min, costs roughly SFR 25,-).

How to reach IDSIA by car

• Coming freeway from the north (Gottardo, Bernardino) exit at Lugano Nord, follow the signs to Ponte Tresa, you'll bridge the highway; turn left at the traffic light (turning right would lead you into Manno) and follow Via Cantonale for some 50 meters; turn left again at the gas station; follow the little road running in parallel to Via Cantonale until you come to our building. Take the main entrance from Via Cantonale, on the long side. We are on the second floor.
